Originally installed during the 2015 C2MTL business conference held at Montreal's Arsenal, the first phase of this project invited strangers, two at a time, to enter into the NEST and to be initiated into a ritual of intuition and commitment. Relying solely on their intuition, visitors of the NEST were asked to choose one of the 18 graphic symbols laid out before them on a series of wooden stamps, eventually creating a shared tattoo.

For the E-Merge exhibition taking place at Arsenal, 18 of these portraits have been selected as part of this installation and displayed on a series of movable blocks. Visitors were invited to interact directly with these blocks, reconfiguring and rearranging the pattern of portraits and symbols into new stories.
